–Okay, so the very top one was taken at MoMA. And the bottom one is in Prospect Heights. But all of the other photographs — including ones of my deal friends Michael (visiting from Toronto) and Shannon, shot on Fuji Neopan 400 with the Zeiss Biogon, on Peter’s Leica — were taken below Houston Street. Leicas love black and white, goodness me!
Speaking of which: my Leica finally has a name. More on that soon.

Wow, I guess I should be greatful I have a window. I didn’t realize what a commodity it was.
Keep it up–I suggest perusing Vivian Maier’s work for inspiration.

I really like black and white photography. It has that feeling of contrast; black or white, big or small, dark or light, and small or big. It just seems to touch one’s creativity more than just color photography!

Whoa, these are lovely. Esp. the shot in the train station. I use a point and shoot anymore & miss the ability to create depth of field. Very nice stuff.

Want to know more about the windowless office though; sounds nightmarish. My office gives me a small view of the sky. If it’s sunny its very depressing as I then feel trapped in the grey office.

Is that DURIAN I see hanging in the fruit stand? Last school year I lived in China. I still sometimes walk into Walmart and expect to be hit with a wall of Durian stench. I miss China, but I don’t miss durian.

I didn’t get close enough to catch the smell — I don’t think it stinks until you crack it open, though!
