I work in a windowless office. When I'm not here, I take a lot of photographs. Those two facts may or may not be related.

I live in Brooklyn, NY. I sometimes think about moving to Berlin. I used to shoot 99% of the time with film. Now that I have a Leica M9, there's a bit more digital in my life, but I don't plan on abandoning film anytime soon.

Yes, that is the magic hour of spring. The light at that hour is a great equalizer – making everything shimmer in golden hues. Thanks for the photos – first 3 are my favs.
6:40pm on the F train reminds me of the train scene from “Spirited Away.” The softness really matches the retro atmosphere.
..and the red is so very velvety at the Local Public House 🙂
Thanks much! The interior of 61 Local isn’t quite as velvety as that photo suggests, but it is a very warmly-lit space, with high ceilings and a great glow.
