Over the long holiday weekend, my pal Nick and I met up in Red Hook, an industrial part of Brooklyn that, over the last 10-15 years or so, has flourished into a bit of residential community of sorts, inbetween the old warehouses to the west and the ballfields and tire shops to the east. It’s an area that was also hit quite hard by Hurricane Sandy a couple of years ago. It has since gotten back on its feet, with various new developments closer to the waterfront and a handful of new restaurants. It’s also a *great* place to spend an afternoon with a camera or two.
